ANNEX: THE HINSHEE GUIDELINES
The definitive roadmap for Hinshee Residents, ensuring absolute transparency, high-tier security, and curated excellence.
Verification
The Residency Trust Standard To maintain the exclusivity of the Hinshee Chateaux, every potential Resident must undergo a multi-layered Customer Identification Program (CIP). This framework is designed to eliminate the anonymity common in traditional marketplaces, ensuring that every user is a verified, high-intent individual committed to our standards of luxury and mutual trust.
Identity & Global Compliance In strict adherence to international regulatory security, Hinshee utilizes enterprise-grade biometric verification protocols. This process utilizes facial recognition technology to cross-reference real-time liveness imagery against government-issued IDs. This is a mandatory requirement to mitigate fraud, prevent synthetic identity creation, and safeguard the personal assets of our global community.
Encryption & Data Sovereignty We hold Resident privacy as a core pillar of our philosophy. All identity documentation is processed via high-security, bank-grade encrypted channels. Your personal data is never sold or used for advertising; it serves strictly to anchor your digital identity within the Hinshee ecosystem, allowing you to operate with absolute confidence in every high-value transaction.
Apply for ResidencyThe Registry
Curation First Philosophy Residents are expected to provide details that go beyond standard descriptions. The Registry serves as a professional archive of quality; we require comprehensive material profiles, tactile condition assessments, and a transparent professional preservation history for every entry. This rigor ensures the longevity and value of the goods within our collective.
Standardized Visual Excellence To maintain the aesthetic integrity of the Registry, all item submissions must follow specific visual protocols. This includes utilizing natural lighting to capture the authentic character of the materials. Accurate visual representation is the foundation of our transparent marketplace, allowing Residents to acquire pieces based on their true physical state and provenance.
Registry Integrity Participation in the Registry is a privilege that requires ongoing commitment to accuracy. Should a listing be found to contain misleading data or insufficient material profiles, it will be subject to removal to protect the ecosystem. We believe that a high-information environment is the only way to sustain a truly premium marketplace.
Condition
The Hygiene Guarantee Physical integrity is paramount. All Registry items must pass a meticulous inspection for structural damage, odors, and staining. By adhering to these strict guidelines, our Residents help preserve the premium market value of their individual collections while reinforcing the overall prestige and trust associated with the Hinshee name.
Preservation Standards We advocate for the professional maintenance of all luxury goods. Items listed in the Registry should ideally be accompanied by a history of professional cleaning or restoration by approved boutique providers. This documentation serves as a hallmark of quality, proving to future owners that the piece has been cared for with the respect its craftsmanship deserves.
Quality Assurance Protocol Our team monitors the condition of items throughout their lifecycle on the platform. Any disclosed discrepancies or failures to meet the Hinshee Hygiene Standard will result in an immediate review of Residency status. We maintain these high stakes to ensure that when a Resident acquires a piece, they are receiving nothing short of excellence.
ANNEX: CONDITION OF CLOTHING
Exclusivity is our hallmark. Every garment must surpass our rigorous standards of hygiene and structural integrity to remain in the Chateaux collection.
Transparency
Natural Daylighting Verification Capture every fiber detail in bright, indirect sunlight. We strictly prohibit artificial yellow house lights or heavy digital filters that mask the true pigment, tonal depth, and material texture of the garment. Clear visuals are the foundation of Resident trust.
Registry-Standard Tagging Provide a sharp, macro-focus on the brand label, numerical size indicator, and care tag. This data is vital for our luxury auditing process and protects the Resident from any future authenticity disputes.
Macro Lens Requirement For any minor snag, thread pull, or loose stitch, you must use a macro lens to show exactly how the thread is sitting. Absolute honesty in photography eliminates return requests and ensures a seamless transaction.
Standards
Acceptable vs. Rejected Quality Our administration performs a manual review of all item histories. If an item fails to meet the sanitary requirements below, it is ineligible for the Registry.
| Feature | Chateau Standard | Rejected |
|---|---|---|
| Sanitary | Laundered & Pressed | Makeup / Skin Residue |
| Aroma | Neutral Freshness | Smoke / Heavy Perfume |
| Hardware | Fluid Zippers | Missing Buttons / Snaps |
Condition Tiers
1. NWT (New With Tags) Pristine, boutique-fresh, and completely unworn. Must feature original plastic fasteners and paper store tags. Fabric must be free of dust, hair, and storage creases.
2. NWOT (New Without Tags) Flawless condition. The item has never been through a wash cycle, but retail tags were removed. No signs of "closet wear" or fabric relaxation at the seams.
3. Excellent (Chateau Quality) Ready for immediate wear. Shows no fading or stretching, maintaining its original factory structural stiffness and tailored silhouette.
4. Good (Standard Quality) Minor wash-wear may be visible but structural integrity is 100%. All minor cosmetic wear must be explicitly disclosed in the Registry description.
Hygiene
Undergarment & Swimwear Policy All swimwear, bodysuits, and intimates must be NWT/NWOT only. Pre-owned items in this category are never accepted regardless of professional washing. This is a non-negotiable safety and sanitary standard.
Structural Stress Test Residents must gently apply tension to all major seams (shoulders, armpits, and crotch). If threads appear loose or the seam "gaps," the item is considered "End of Life" and is not fit for the collection.
Environmental Contaminants Items stored near mothballs or in smoking environments are strictly banned. The smell of "storage musk" is grounds for immediate rejection during final inspection.
Shipping
Professional Preparation Use a high-pressure steamer to remove all creases and refresh the fibers. Follow with a surgical lint removal for both the exterior and interior of the garment before boxing.
Double-Layer Shielding Every item must be placed in a waterproof clear poly-bag before the final mailing box. Reusing retail boxes from other companies is strictly prohibited for Chateau orders.
Universal Apparel Conversion
Women’s Standard Conversion
This chart covers the most common luxury conversions for global heritage houses including brands like Gucci (IT), Chanel (FR), and Burberry (UK). It serves as the definitive reference for Dresses, Tops, Coats, and Skirts to ensure absolute fit accuracy within the Hinshee ecosystem.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | XXS | 4 | 32 | 36 |
| 2 | XS | 6 | 34 | 38 |
| 4 | S | 8 | 36 | 40 |

Jeans & Denim Sizing
Denim sizing is primarily anchored to waist measurements in inches. This standard ensures a consistent fit across premium denim labels and heritage workwear brands, providing a reliable conversion between numerical waist sizing and traditional alpha categories.
| US Size | Waist (Inches) | Category |
|---|---|---|
| 00 | 23 - 24 | Extra Small |
| 0 - 2 | 25 - 26 | Small |
| 4 - 6 | 27 - 28 | Medium |
| 8 - 10 | 29 - 30 | Large |
| 12 - 14 | 31 - 32 | Extra Large |
| 16+ | 33+ | Plus Size |
The "Hinshee Measure" Protocol
Because brand-specific sizing can be inconsistent, all Residents are required to provide precise "Flat Lay" measurements. This data-driven approach eliminates fit ambiguity, ensures listing accuracy, and maintains the integrity of the Chateaux by reducing return rates.
